Test Guidelines
  • Written response test (WRT) consists of 5 thematic sections
  • Practical and Mapping Exercise (PME) includes data collection (from maps, satellite images, other resources), its further analysis and mapmaking elements
  • Multimedia test consists of 40 multiple choice questions supported by various graphical resources and information

The thematic content of the tasks is based on the principle of covering a wide range of geographical fields.

  • Inquiry skills (including statistical data)
  • Graphic skills (read, analyse and interpret images, photos, graphs)
  • Remote sensing skills (work with satellite imagery: interpretation, analysis, comparison)
