National geography teams from all around the world
are welcome to join openGeo 2026 —
Open International Geography Olympiad!
  • Dates: 19 – 22 June 2026
  • Competition dates: 20 – 21 June 2026
  • All tests are online, individual and in English
  • No participation fee for national teams up to 6 students per country
  • Test sessions:
    • Written Response Test (WRT)
    • Practical and Mapping Exercise
    • Multimedia Test (MMT)
  • Participants must be:
    • between 14 and 19 years old
    • enrolled in secondary school or graduating in 2026
  • Technical Requirements during test sessions:
    • devices with operational camera and microphone
    • stable internet connection and quiet environment
