National geography teams from all around the world
are welcome to join openGeo 2026 —
Open International Geography Olympiad!

Dates: 19 – 22 June 2026
Competition dates: 20 – 21 June 2026
All tests are online, individual and in English
No participation fee for national teams up to 6 students per country
Test sessions:
- Written Response Test (WRT)
- Practical and Mapping Exercise
- Multimedia Test (MMT)
Participants must be:
- between 14 and 19 years old
- enrolled in secondary school or graduating in 2026
Technical Requirements during test sessions:
- devices with operational camera and microphone
- stable internet connection and quiet environment
